Dare

Who says it is bad to fall?
Who says it is bad to be weak?
Who says it is bad to make mistakes?
Who says it is bad to lose control?

God never points his finger at you, because
it is in your fall where he loves to spread out his arms to catch you.
It is in your weakness where he loves to empower you.
It is in your failure where he loves to teach you.
It is in your loss of control where he loves to guide you.

For all these promises
I dare to fall, because I can't fall deeper than into God's hands.
I dare to be weak, because in my weakness I realize God is always strong.
I dare to make mistakes, because through mistakes I learn the value of forgiveness.
I dare to be out of control, because once I have lost myself, I will find myself again in Christ.

I dare to be myself.

When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me? - Psalm 51:3-4
