We recently got back from our week and a half vacation. We were visiting my parents in Florida and just felt completely pampered... and I have to admit... it was nice!
First let me say... our (almost 3 year old) daughter was an incredible traveler! We couldn't get over how well she did as we traveled 2 days to get there and 2 days back in the van. That's a big answer to prayer right there!
We had fun swimming at the pool while there... she used her "arm floaties" and was swimming, floating, getting in and out of the pool all on her own (thanks to her excellent coach... a.k.a. Daddy)! She was just a little "fish"!
We enjoyed watching the relationship between Grandparents and Granddaughter too! What a blessing she has to have such loving and caring grandparents on both sides of our family!
We were blessed to be given a day at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom... where dreams really do come true! We had fun meeting the characters, getting their autographs, and taking our daughter's picture with them. What a treat! One favorite moment for me personally was riding in the boat through "It's a small world" attraction with my daughter... because of my childhood memories riding it with my mother.
The weather was perfect of course! And... how nice it was to bring it back up north with us... it's beautiful weather today here as well and yahoo... we can still wear our shorts and flip-flops.
We feel refreshed, relaxed, and rejuvenated... All Praise Be to God, Our Loving Father who blessed our socks off once AGAIN!
